**Financial Accountant**

You will support general accounting operations, month-end closings, and statutory compliance, with a focus on VAT, taxes, and local reporting requirements. The role also includes collaboration with our Shared Service Center and support in audits and travel expense management.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage general accounting activities and perform B/S reconciliations,
- Assist in performing month-end and year-end closing activities following Group procedures including accruals and payroll accounting entries,
- Assist in preparing the Annual Financial Statement in compliance with local regulations, including assistance in the corporate income tax calculations and adjusting entries,
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Italian VAT/TAXES and other requirements:

- Good knowledge of VAT law and its requirements/regulations - monthly VAT calculation, fill in tax payment form F24
- Withholding taxes
- Accurate maintenance of VAT Register, Journal Entry Register, Inventory and Fixed Asset register
- Support in reviewing annual/quarterly VAT returns, Mod.770
- Shared services support: act as a key point of contact for our shared service center for:

- General ledger specific accounting needs
- Accounts payable sharing expertise to enhance their accounting and control
- Assist in performing the vendor and e-invoicing reconciliation/archiving
- Support in external & internal audits
- Manage employees travel expenses
- Submitting to SDI (Authority Exchange System) cross border transactions
- Accounting activities related to imports

**Essential Skills & Experience**
- Solid knowledge of accounting principle (Italian GAAP and IFRS)
- Good knowledge of SAP ERP system
- Proactive mindset and analytical oriented approach to solve financial challenges efficiently
- Fluent in English
- Uo to 5 years’ experience working in a structured multinational company
