la Rinascente is the most prestigious and avant-garde chain of department stores in Italy. On May 26, 2016 la Rinascente in Milano has won the award for “The Best Department Store in the World”. The announcement was made in Zurich at the official awards ceremony of the Global Department Store Summit 2016. The event, at its 5th edition, is organised by the Intercontinental Group of Department Stores (IGDS), the most important association of department stores with more than 40 members around the world, established in Switzerland in 1946.

Our stores are creativity labs that give scope and visibility to new talents from the worlds of fashion and design. They are meeting places that are made richer by a great number of cultural and promotional events, which have strong ties with the local culture and the ‘esprit du temps’.

**Posizione:**:We are looking for an enthusiastic corporate communication, events and operations specialist to manage our external and internal communications. You will promote a positive public image and control the dissemination of information on our company’s behalf.

Great communication and copywriting skills make a strong communication specialist. Experience in corporate communication, marketing operations and project management are important qualities too.

**Responsibilities**
- Developing effective corporate communication strategies
- Managing internal communications (ex. newsletters etc.)
- Drafting content (ex. press releases) for mass media or company website
- Organizing initiatives and plan events or press conferences
- Liaising with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
- Fostering relationships with advocates and key persons
- Collaborating with marketing professionals to produce copy for advertisements or articles
- Assisting in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership
- Providing in-store communication material, both institutional and promotional
- Supporting our brand partners in planning events and special projects
- Producing and maintaining up-to date all company’s institutional presentations
- Developing cultural, sport and tourist partnerships
- Coordinating activities aimed at maintaining and promoting the corporate heritage

**Requisiti**:

- Proven experience as communications specialist
- Experience in copywriting and editing
- Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- BSc/BA in public relations, communications, humanities or relevant field
- Experience in web design and content production is a plus
