Avio Aero is working with national and international partners to design and develop the power and propulsion system of GCAP program.
He/she, reporting to NPI Program Director, will be the company focal point for all the activities related to the assessment and the execution of the needed upgrades of the infrastructures (both physical and IT) and processes, and will coordinate all the involved functions to ensure the respect of the program requirements.
Substantial part of the role is to handle the risks assessment and the risk mitigation on its perimeter
**Essential Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the Infrastructures and Processes readiness according with the Program Integrated Master Schedule, as well as for the assessment versus the Program requirements
- Lead the interfunctional Program Team (ENG, GSC, QUA, IT etc.) for the area of its responsibility, the Enabling Infrastructures & Processes Operative Rhythms and internal reporting preparation
- Create and execute an integrated plan to meet Company economics/financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget
- Proactively identify, detect, prevent and manage risks that may have impacts on success, timing and compliance of the program
- Define, update and monitor capital investment economics (Revenues, Gross Margin), financials (cash collection) for Enabling Infrastructures & Processes
- Track capital investment for his/her area of responsibility
- Ensure that approved investment plan is consistent with activities supported by Supply Chain Team
- Support P&E approval process when needed, liaising with Supply Chain Team
- Responsible for Program Control Board preparation for his/her area of competence
- Support the Price investigation preparation for his/her area of competence
- Supports the Commercial Team during all the phases of an offer, starting from the Customer needs through the negotiations, until the hand-over at the Kick-Off meeting.
- Support GCAP Business Leader and NPI Program Director on Program MOR preparation
- Monitor the program progress (reporting relevant KPIs, costs) at the operating rhythm (WOR, QMI, Cash Flow,)
- Support Commercial Leader for customer reviews as needed
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Master's Degree in Engineering.
- Strong Previous experience in project management, skilled in working and influencing a cross functional team in a matrix organization.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to quickly respond to and manage project changes
- Proactivity, take in charge, self-government and self-determination.
- Good knowledge of Aerospace industry and understanding of the Defense environment.
- Highly skilled in collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams within a matrix organization
- Prompt communication, ability to highlight critical issues at the appropriate level and sense of urgency.
- Knowledge of Company processes, organization and Lean Practitioner
- Strong ability to document, plan and execute established projects, and management skills.
- Proven expertise in managing financial metrics
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Availability to travel as needed to support the Business
- Eligible to be security cleared by the Italian National Security Authority (security concerns that can lead to a determination of ineligibility are listed in art. 37 DPCM 6 November 2015 n.5)”
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
