EHS Manager

As the EHS Manager, you will lead all EHS activities across our Verbania facility. **Key Responsibilities**: - Establish and manage an ongoing assessment process for the implementation of the EHS Management System to align with local legislation and PPG EHS requirements - Ensure that EHS, PPG and legal requirements, are communicated, working with the Site Leadership team to address the requirements in the most effective way - Implement EHS strategy by developing and aligning local plans, in agreement with Site Leadership Team and Corporate & Regional guidelines - Collaborate to generate a strategy to define the improvement plan and site investments in EHS - Identify and prioritise needs, propose and ensure approval for EHS local budget, and run appropriately in full alignment with site and Country guidelines. - Define and handle the Site training program - Lead the site risk assessments - Manage the site EHS data reporting - Availability to travel in North of Italy area **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in EHS field, chemistry, engineering, or equivalent science. - 3-4 years of proven experience in a similar EHS Management related position ideally within chemicals or manufacturing sites. - In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety and/or environmental regulations - Outstanding interpersonal with strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interact positively with all levels of the organisation - Proficient English - "RSPP” qualification for chemical industry (Modulo B5) - Flexibility to travel **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
