**Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst**:
TXT Group, for its Aersopace & High Tech division, is looking for a GIS Analyst who will be included in the Aerospace & Aviation Ground Stations team for activities supporting flight operations of international customers. The activities of processing and production of geospatial data are framed within a digital mapping service aimed at the production of raster, vector and terrain elevation datasets.
**Main activities**:
Collaboration with GIS Specialist for the production of digital cartography;
Processing of geospatial and aeronautical data;
Creation of clean and accurate maps;
Verification and distribution of produced maps;
Creation of technical reference and reporting documentation.
**Technical skills required**:
Basic knowledge of GIS.
Knowledge of QGIS, ArcGIS, scripting and GDAL will be considered a plus.
**Education required**: Technical and scientific diploma
A good knowledge of English, excellent communication skills, problem solving, good learning skills and attention to detail complete the profile.
For this activity there will be a few days per week at the customer's premises in Sesto Calende (VA).
