Accounting Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated** Accounting Team Leader **to join us at Kantar XTEL, a leading global revenue management solutions provider for consumer goods companies (CPG). In this role, you will be responsible for leading the** Accounting Team.**

**Your mission**

As **Accounting Team Leader**, you will closely work with **the rest of the Finance department,** and you will report directly to our **Finance Director**. We’re dedicated to find someone who is accurate, not afraid to take on challenges and interested in **leading and developing his/her team members**.

Your day-to-day will also consist of mainly these topics:
**Bring our accounting and treasury structures to the next level**:

- You will ensure the operational excellence of the day-to-day accounting and compliance with accounting regulations according to IAS/IFRS and local GAAP
- You will drive the establishment, further development and standardization of accounting processes including compliance and risk management
- You will manage treasury and working capital

**Be a role model for your team and lead them to excellence**:

- You will manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is adequate backup in place for every critical operation
- You will provide leadership and professional development to members of the team
- You will be involved in cross-functional specific projects (e.g. implementation of a new ERP system)
- You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for Italy and abroad (ES, USA, BE, GB, FR, CH) in accordance with local-GAAP and the accounting team
- You will be responsible for consolidation of group accounts
- You will actively participate in ongoing financial accounting (debtors, accounts payable, bank, cash register, payment runs, advance sales tax returns, summary reports)
- You will optimize financial systems and taxation of the Group (e.g. intercompany revenue/cost attribution)
- You will manage strategic financial activities (e.g. cash flow forecasts, bank partnerships, debt management, investors/board reporting)

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields with strong academic background
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience preferably in a SaaS sector and fast growing environment
- Strong time-management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Resilience and passion working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in leading a team & passion for leadership. You are a communicative leader who knows how to motivate and engage your team
- Excellent written and verbal English and Italian skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the organization to achieve results
- Sound knowledge of IAS/IFRS and US-GAAP
- Excellent knowledge of excel (vlookup and sumifs functions, index/match and pivot tables)
- Experience in dealing with external consultants/auditors
- Experience in ERP implementation will be an advantage
