**Research Scientist - Cardiovascular Epigenetics**

**Centro Cardiologico Monzino - IRCCS**

The **Cardiovascular Epigenetics Group** at Centro Cardiologico Monzino, led by Dr. Maria Cristina Vinci, is seeking a highly motivated **Research Scientist.** Our laboratory investigates the epigenetic and molecular mechanisms driving cellular dysfunction in cardiometabolic disease, and develops gene-specific epigenetic therapies for regenerative purposes.

**Key Responsabilities**
- Molecular biology workflows for gene-specific **epigenetic editing** in stem cells (cloning, viral/non-viral delivery, functional assays).
- **FACS-based cell sorting** and primary cell culture
- Active participation in national and international collaborations.

**Qualifications**
- PhD (or equivalent experience) in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
- **Hands-on expertise** in cloning **strategies and transfection/viral delivery methods**.
- Solid background in cell **biology**; knowledge of stem cell biology and **reprogramming**.
- Previous experience with hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (HSPCs) will be considered
a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative skills; ability to work **independently and in team**.
- Good spoken and written English.
