BRS Data organization has chosen a decentralized Data Hub (central) & Data Spoke (local) organization where the Spokes are data factory teams covering multiples countries Data needs and supporting business teams by delivering operations reporting, ad-hoc analysis supporting decision making and advanced insights aiming at predicting clients, merchants, or consumers behaviors.

Reporting to the Data Factory Manager and located in Milano, the Data Quality Manager is a key member of the team, working with global Head of data Governance. You will oversees achieving data quality standards in operating systems (CRM, back offices...) to allow collection of valuable data in BRS analytics platform.

Responsible for E2E management of data quality, the working scope covers operational and analytical data and associated practices. Data quality projects and policies are deployed in countries with the support of the Business data owners & local IT teams.

As a Data Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Deploying Data Governance policies in the country: roles, responsibilities, catalogue, data definitions (including KPIs).
- Engaging and managing Local Data Stewards.
- Implementing data quality policies and controls. Measurement and remediation actions.
- Implementing compliance and data privacy requirements.
- Co-Designing and co-evolving the common data model with Data Governance Manager. Governance of local data model.
- Keeping Data Lineage up to date.
- Keeping metadata up to date.

This position will focus on operating a data quality framework locally including data policies, standards and practices, tools and monitoring, both at the Business and Functional area level, to achieve the required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet business needs.

- Master’s degree in Project or Information Management or equivalent
- At least 3 years working in large data project in a major organization
- Previous experience with Data Quality, Data Management and protection practices
- Overview of data related local government regulatory requirements
- Experience in working transversally in an international company and in an agile organization is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to deal with multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and oriented to detail.
- Abilty to work in hybrid mode in our Milan office (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
- Fluent English and Italian.
