WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Buyer Specialist is responsible for leading the team that manages the relationships with suppliers on Raw Material perimeter (HRC + Quarto Plate), follow the strategies of central purchasing and ensures production with the procurement of parts on EMEA Metallic Commodity.

Current spend is approximately 120M$ Direct + 75M$ Indirect.

The Buyer responsibilities include the sourcing management and the total acquisition cost management.

Manages the purchase of raw material for Direct and Indirect (Plants and Suppliers).

Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, business model and manage the development of contracts, contractual relationships and contract management to deliver continuous improvement in delivery of goods and services by the supply base.

Determine new business opportunities based on the market research on raw material and mine industry

Drives, forecasts and reports economic savings performance, negotiates price reductions, increases and long-term agreements, analyzes various reports to capture opportunities. Perimeter of work: Metallic Ag&CE

- Supply/Relation Champion
- Escalation to resolve supply base issues
- Product cost disputes & Invoicing issues
- Delivery delays & Product development timing delays
- Contract Negotiations
- Raw material indexation agreements
- Long term purchasing agreements
- General terms & conditions

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Short/Master Degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Finance preferred

Fluent English

Excellent knowledge in Excel and the Office package

Relevant Raw Material Flat Steel knowledge

Knowledge of local supplier’s market for the relevant product/commodity

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the position

OTHER INFORMATION:
