Intesa Sanpaolo is the banking group leader in Italy. The Group has a selected retail banking presence in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, with approximately 1,000 branches and 7.2 million customers in 12 countries. Intesa Sanpaolo is also present in 25 countries in support of its corporate customers’ cross-border business. It is looking for new qualify profiles who want to face demanding and challenging career path with the following requirements:_

**Scope and Purpose**:
Within the **Corporate DCM Origination desk** there is a need for an Associate to help further develop the Bank's international DCM Corporate franchise and to support the origination activities of the senior members of the Team.
The person will work closely together with members of the DCM team (in Italy and abroad) and will be required to liaise with other desks of the Bank (primarily Syndicate, Compliance, Legal, Debt and Rating Advisory, relationship managers).
- The Associate's tasks will include:
- producing periodic market and pricing updates for clients;
- producing presentations and other documents to be used for marketing purposes;
- drafting term-sheets for private or public transactions;
- liaising with Banca IMI's Legal and Compliance departments, to assure all the appropriate steps have been taken before and/or in the process of a transaction acceptance/execution;
- participating in the execution of the DCM transactions, liaising with the Syndicate desk, the Legal Department and with the back-office staff, whenever necessary;
- participating to the legal, business and financial due diligence processes;
- preparing deal reviews (and other internal reports) once transactions are completed.

IMICIBIT-IMICIBEX

**Required Experience**:
I) a Bachelor's Degree or Master's in business, economics or finance;
II) at least a 3-year experience in DCM, having been actively involved in marketing activities and in the execution of DCM transactions.

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge**:
i) the fundamentals of the corporate credit analysis;
ii) the bond-math, the bond-pricing and interest rate derivatives methods;
iii) the market uses and conventions typically adopted in Corporate DCM transactions (investment grade);
iv) Bond documentation and accounting;
v) the use of Excel, Power Point and the Bloomberg.

The ideal person is expected to show a high level of flexibility and initiative to deal with the variety of tasks that need to be done in a small team.
