Operational Excellence Specialist

**MISSION**
Executes the assigned project activities and is responsible for their accurate and timely completion, dealing effectively with process mapping, assessment and reengineering. Addresses the project plan and results, collects project information and builds reports for the manager above. Coordinates low complexity projects, having the responsibility of project execution and monitoring.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
**1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT DEFINITION**
- Identifies proactively opportunity areas of improvement related to operational and quality performance in order to support the leader above with the selection of the highest potential projects and to focus budget and effort on them, contributing to profitable and efficiency growth in alignment with corporate strategy.
- Presents project proposals to the leader above with accurate esteems related to timescales, people workload and resources budget as well as benefits and affected KPIs.

**2. PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXECUTION AND MONITORING**
- Participates actively and proactively in the assigned projects, providing the project team with delivered actions acting as enabler of synergy and efficiency across the involved processes.
- Executes assigned projects activities, coordinating teams and resources in order to complete deliverables within the deadline, with particular focus on results and synergies.
- Executes processes mapping, assessment and reengineering in order to promote the improvement of SG Group efficiency.
- Monitors the projects progression with regular updates, including budget control and resources workload, identifies risks and issues and when it is necessary addresses mitigation actions, reviewing contingency plans, in coordination with project teams and the leader above.
- Collects information and presents to the leader above and function leaders in depth analysis and reports in order to guarantee alignment across the project and to sustain decision-making process on critical points by evaluating different project scenarios.

**3. PROJECT MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES, TOOLS AND SUPPORT**
- Provides the project team with guidelines and tools, in order to foster synergies, spreads the project management culture across the team and the relevant area as well as follow a common process.
- Sustains the project team in the use of appropriate methods in problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives and in the estimate of the benefits of proposed improvements and cost analysis working with AFC and other functions involved.

**4. RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT**
- Interacts and communicates regularly and effectively with the team and functions involved aimed at fostering the knowledge sharing approach and circulation of information across the organization.

**Qualifications**
- Experience 1-2 years of experience in project management in a multinational company
- Preferred backgroung in engineering
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement: methodologies, techniques, principles and models
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing: methodologies, techniques, principles and models
- Knowledge of World Class Business/Manufacturing: methodologies, techniques, principles and models
