**Position**:
We are looking for an IT Specialist who is passionate about technology and keen on helping others to join our System Team.
- As part of our team, you will work closely with the IT Manager and collaborate with talented professionals to provide exceptional technical support and assistance to our employees.
- You will be in charge of troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing maintenance, and assisting with system upgrades and installations.

**What you will do**:

- Track issues to resolution, updating the internal knowledge base and communicating the findings with relevant teams;
- Escalate more involved problems to the appropriate higher-level Support Teams; Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, network, and peripherals;
- Collaborate with other IT staff to implement new systems and technologies;
- Develop and maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures;Provide support for IT-related projects;
- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and systems;
- Assist new joiners with the IT onboarding process.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience;
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or related field;
- Experience with network infrastructure and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Good knowledge of the best practices of cybersecurity;
- You are curious and eager to learn, grow, and help others while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude;
- You like to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend new solutions to enhance the company's IT infrastructure;
- You are organized, precise, and punctual;
- You are pragmatic, and understand that speed is often as important as quality when getting things done;
- You are resourceful and own the proposed solutions;
- Fluency in English;
- Located in Bologna or able to work on-site when required.

**Nice to have**:
Experience with ITIL framework and ITSM tools;
- Experience with Active Directory and network infrastructures (including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points);
- Experience with pfSense and/or other network appliances;
- Experience with MDM solutions (Microsoft Intune, Jamf, etc.);
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
