**Compliance Analyst**

This role is responsible for defining and verifying the adequacy of the compliance technical measures to guarantee the correct execution of the data processing, in line with the data protection and security principles and Laws.

This role will also support the Consent Management Platform (CMP) program in Sky.

***Job brief**:
We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to ensure that our operations and business processes are in line with all the relevant related compliance policies and procedures and the related technical prescriptions and measures.

To succeed in this role, you should be familiar both with data governance standards/laws and technical measures for building company premises aligned with the compliance and business's requirements.

Your goal will be to ensure we operate in manner that is compliant with the main data protection legislations and that meet our business objectives.

Any combination of relevant education and experience and/or related professional designations/certifications in this field is highly desirable.

***Responsibilities**:

- Work cross department to ensure that the compliance technical measures required are fully implemented and consistent with the regulations
- Proactively audit all the company processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses
- Assess and identify risks in line with the risk management approach, ensuring they are mitigated and accounted for work within the data governance program
- Collaborate with Legal and external auditors when needed
- Update, implement and maintain the internal program to collect and report data governance related metrics and indicators.
- Develop, update, and maintain standards, policies and procedures and provide technical assurance for the on-going implementation of the Compliance and Risk programs
- Supervise over the Consent Management Platform governance implementation and use cases (e.g., requests collection, activity coordination and progress review, etc.)

**Experience**
- 4-6 years working in Compliance or Internal Audit functions

***Requirements**:

- Proven experience as compliance SME
- Experience in risk management
- IT and security internal audit skills
- In-depth knowledge of the data governance standards and regulations
- (e.g. SOX, PCI standard, ICT Security standards and best practices)
- Knowledge and experience in privacy and data security laws and regulations, including GDPR
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Good English is mandatory
- Teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
- BSc/BA in law, finance, _engineering_ or related field
- Professional certification (e.g. ISO 27001 or CISA) is a plus
