Junior Architectural Lighting Designer

Luciforma is a boutique architectural lighting design studio working on projects internationally with world-renowned architectural and design offices.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Drafting lighting layouts, details, and sketches
- Building and maintaining lighting specification schedules and cut books
- Creating concept presentations
- Attending project meetings (remotely)
- Weekly or bi-weekly team progress meetings in Milan (in-person)

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years experience in the architectural lighting and/or architectural design field
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, interior design, lighting design or similar
- Fluency in English
- Valid residence permit within the EU
- P.IVA
- Strong skills in AutoCAD (2D)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop
- Revit experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with DIALux
- Familiarity with both metric and imperial systems of measurement
- Ability to work on multiple projects through all phases of design
- Thorough understanding of architectural drawings and graphic standards
- Hand sketching and model building skills are a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
