We want you to develop your skills, expand your knowledge and be proud of your work. : Joining a dynamic and motivated Material Laboratory team, the MATERIAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN, with a Technical background and the desire to support analysis, investigation, research and development, will be involved in a variety of laboratory-based activities within Vulcanization/Preparation Lab, Chemical and Physical testing areas. **Responsabilities**: - preparing and vulcanizing specimens and samples; - performing laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations; - carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses; - maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment, for example:, Tensometers, DMTA, chromatographs, spectrometers, titrators, pH meters; - ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced; - recording results to present to supervisors/senior colleagues and to lab customers; - using computers; - following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks; **Educational background** Technical High school diploma. **Requrements** - Flexibility: availability to work in different shifts and laboratory areas: Preparation, Vulcanization, Physical Tests and Chemical Tests - Good manual skills - Basic technical-scientific Knowledge - High interpersonal skill and team working attitude - Ability to understand procedures and test methods - Basic knowledge and use of Office (Excel and Outlook mainly) **Languages** English basic Knowledge **Optional requirements**: - Experience with Tire Compounds / raw materials - Ability to develop/Issue operating procedures and test methods - Knowledge of statistics and data elaboration **MORE INFORMATION**: **We are looking forward to hearing from you** **DISCLAIMER**: Diversity and inclusion are a central part of Bridgestone EMIA’s values at the highest level.
