Cooling Cost Manager

The challenge

What you will do
- Lead the whole budgeting process in coordination with Procurement, Marketing, Manufacturing and R&D
- Estimate the full range product cost at SKU level or feature level, working on indicative or definitive costs, according to the maturity of the project/product.
- Monthly Variance Analysis, tracking and monitoring actual cost vs. budget costs, highlighting the areas of discrepancies and advancing possible cost forecast for the following months.
- Estimate cost reduction opportunities, with a cross-functional approach with R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing through activity of benchmarking, teardown, comparison, etc
- Should cost analysis for competitors

What you need to succeed

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCES

Experience in similar role (cost manager or senior cost engineer, process engineer, factory controller).

Techinical Degree (industrial-mechanical-electronic engineer)

8-10 years minimum experience, gained in a company operating in a manufacturing sector (white goods company or suppliers of white goods industry are a plus).

Italian and English (fluent)

Good communication skills and standing, considering the exposure to leadership during periodic report-out. Attention to details, familiarity with financial reporting

Team working attitude

Nice to have

SAP knowledge is a plus, strongly desired.
