Procurement Analyst Specialist

He/she will:
- Support the Procurement Function in all the analysis related to material purchasing.
- Support the Head of Group Procurement in the activities related to the strategic decision making, such us: Procurement analytics, covering data consolidation from external and internal sources, data/performance analysis and benchmarking.
- Tracking and analysis of Industry market indicators with the purpose of identifying and understanding trends to anticipate events that can impact the business.
- Preparation of analysis, presentations and reports related to strategic raw materials in terms of volumes and prices. Performance evaluation is done through information and data collected from main Industry channels, Suppliers and in collaboration with Regional Purchasing Managers and Global Category Leads.
- Monitoring and reporting of progress, implementation status and achievements of saving initiatives against target in liaison with Finance and Regional Procurement Managers.
- Benchmarking of price mechanisms and evaluation of suppliers’ price proposals. The outcome is used by the Head Group Procurement and Global Category Leads to negotiate with suppliers.
- Be an active resource in the annual cycle business planning process, providing analytics support with special attention to Raw Materials Assumptions.
- Support and collaborate within Procurement Team and cross functionally (Sales & Marketing, R&T, Operations, S&OP, Finance) in a wide number of projects (raw materials optimization, complexity reduction, RFQs, etc.) providing data and information to facilitate decision-making process.
- Degree in Business Administration
- Experience in data analysis and business intelligence tools and methodologies
- English fluent
- Good knowledge of IT tools: MS Office, S4H
- Communication skills
