Marketing Communication Specialist

**JOB OVERVIEW**
Quick Algorithm is looking for talented, self-motivated and entrepreneurially minded Marketing Communication intern to join our growing team. You will be crucial in communicating to the world how our technology can make Data-Driven decision-making smart and accessible to any company, institution and individual.

The primary responsibility consists of developing original marketing content ranging from blog-posts and social media posts to official announcements. Your contribution will be essential in communicating successfully to prospects, clients and investors. You will also be working on the definition of marketing strategies and the implementation of marketing plans.

This position is only for ambitious people with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrive by receiving responsibilities and get excited about taking part in the journey of building an international company.

Placed in one of the fastest-growing markets, Quick Algorithm is a recently established Data-Science start-up based in Milan. We have developed Scops, a SaaS solution that helps companies in the manufacturing and industrial sector to collect and analyse data coming from their assets.

**WHAT WILL YOUR JOB OFFER BE LIKE?**
- **_ Contract type: _**Internship
- **_ Desired Start Date: _**ASAP
- **_ Length: _**3-6 months, with the possibility of full-time extension based on performance and cultural fitting
- **_ Desired Availability: _**20-40 Hours/Week
- **_ Location: _**Milan, Italy, with the possibility of working from remote
- **_ Pay range: _**€ 800 month net full-time-equivalent plus access to the canteen

**WHERE DOES THE MAGIC HAPPEN?**
Milan, Via Calabiana 6. We work in a vibrant co-working space called Talent Garden located in a very up and coming neighborhood, with plenty of hip pubs for aperitivos where we celebrate our victories. The co-working space has a warm and welcoming crowd of all ages allowing plenty of knowledge sharing and hangout opportunities. If you are an introvert, then sweat not, we have a lot of quiet spaces and cubicles where you can work in solitude.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AT QA**
- Proposing marketing strategies and creating marketing plans
- Helping planning and organizing trade shows and webinars
- Conceptualize, execute and continually improve our advertising campaigns
- Design and present new social media campaign ideas
- Developing marketing materials to generate sales leads
- Producing press releases
- Interviewing and listening to engineers and product managers to write tech articles and blog posts
- Create and publish new website and social media content
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.)

**WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO KNOW BEFORE YOU JOIN**
- Current enrollment in or graduated from a bachelor/master program with a core focus on Marketing or Communication
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Ability to write and think creatively and experience or interest in writing about digital/technology innovation, Data-Science, Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence
- Knowledge of Social Media Managing Tools
- Ability to work to strict deadlines without compromising on work quality
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work autonomously, self-disciplined
- Not afraid of the occasional curveball
- Quick learner with the ability to think on your feet
- Experience in creating also visual content is a strong plus
- Excited about working in the Tech space & a start-up environment
