**Discover the role**

As an Associate Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and tax needs for our clients, partnering with them to ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date, compliant with local laws and regulations. You will work alongside a Senior member of the team who will also support your growth at TMF, reporting directly to the A&T Supervisor.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supports and manages clients and internal requests in a timely manner
- Accounting entries
- Assures compliance to VAT principles
- Calculation of monthly withholding tax
- Preparation of Tax return
- Calculation of Italian Municipal Property taxes (IMU, TASI)
- Prepares simple financial reports or supports Senior Accountant in predisposing complex financial reports

**About you**
- Ideally, you meet the following criteria:_
- Up to 5 years of experience preferably in similar companies / BPOs
- High School Diploma and/or Degree Economics
- Intermediate knowledge of English (B1+)
- Proficient user of MS Office package
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (statutory deadlines, tax laws and regulations, etc.)
- Knowledge of the Profis system will be considered a plus
- Highly responsible and organized person with good communication skills and a problem-solving attitude
- Trustworthy team member who considers those around them
