As a Research & Innovation Specialist, you will be responsible for proposing and managing research projects and solving incoming issues in a dedicated field (e.g. mechanical engineering, chemistry or electronic integration in manufacturing processes). In this role, you will impact directly the improvement of our products and existing processes by proposing research-based solutions and innovations that might involve systems, procedures, materials or technology.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Conduction of research using various methodologies and sources, ensuring to obtain recent and relevant data for the company
- Collection of data by interviewing internal and external stakeholders, scanning databases or locating rare texts to get the needed information
- Management of own projects with a proactive mood, introducing new challenges and developing innovative frameworks and solutions in the dedicated field
- Drive improvement through a stronger focus on research and innovation and actively contribute to building a high performing collaboration with other business units

**Profile**
- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge in mechanical or chemical engineering or materials science
- Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques
- Experience in analysis techniques
- Knowledge of 3D Design and FEM analysis
- Flexible, open-minded, ready to learn and work on a variety of tasks
- Team player, excellent interpersonal and networking skills, ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proactive, problem-solver with hands-on mentality and good organizational skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and ethics and a vivid interest in sustainable development
- Very good English, Italian or German is a plus
