This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to join a global legal team integral to a company engaged in innovative technology and passionate about solving some of the biggest challenges in the world - including changing the way regulators, courts and legislators think about the future of work.

We are looking for a dynamic Counsel to cover our Southern Europe operations with a focus on our Rides and Delivery business in Italy, Greece and Israel to be based in Rome or Milan while working in close collaboration with colleagues from across the globe. You will be part of the Western and Southern Europe legal team, reporting into the lead counsel for Southern Europe.
**What You'll Do**:

- Partner on a broad range of legal, commercial and regulatory issues related to Mobility and Delivery in ways that are practical, commercially-focussed and future thinking;
- Draft and partner on key strategic contracts with fleets, restaurants and delivery;
- Work with outside counsel and attend hearings;
- Provide product counseling for our fast paced product team;
- Counsel our marketing team on innovative campaigns and initiatives;
- Collaborate with our Employment, Policy, Tax, Communications, Safety and Operations teams to support regulatory engagement, strategic projects and to refine and craft business operations;
- With this hands-on role and you'll be encouraged to handle significant and sophisticated legal matters with short turnaround times;
- Be an active partner to the BD, marketing and Uber for Business teams on commercial contracts.

**What You'll Need**:

- Passion for innovation and the law;
- Circa 5+ years PQE in law
- Italian speaker and proficient in English
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in providing advice to business leaders regarding operations in a sophisticated regulatory environment
- Proven efficiency operating in sophisticated environments
- We operate in a fast-paced environment so you will need to be agile and be able to balance projects, prioritize quickly and address shifting business needs.
