Settlement Specialist

Key elements include back office activities, organized to provide maximum efficiency; advanced reporting systems and sophisticated technological infrastructures. The company also acts as a holding company, retaining share capital in the boutiques and Generali Investments’ companies.

Within MBO & Funds Services structure, Settlement team provides Settlement for all operations performed by the Front Office at the request of the Portfolio Managers of GIAM and GIP, as well as operations performed by other Management Companies for which GIH has an administrative service contract.
- Ensuring timely broker confirmations of the trades;
- Handling the unconfirmed/ trades and relationship with all involved parts for a prompt issue resolution (brokers. Front Office);Sending settlement instructions to the custodian banks using swift/fax/home-banking
- Monitoring of trade status, involving all related parties (custodian banks, brokers, Front Office) when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s Degree in either Finance or Economics (and equivalent)
- Fluency in English and Italian. Knowledge of a second foreign language (French and/or German) will be considered a plus
- 1-2 years of experience within consultancy firm or financial institutions
- Good knowledge of capital market and financial securities (fixed income, equity, funds, derivatives, money market instruments, etc.)
- Upper intermediate MS Office User, conspicuous skills in IT field, with special consideration of batch input system updates, data flows management.
- Good knowledge of the main international Info providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, Kler’s, Markit)
- Knowledge of asset & wealth management industry.

- Good communication and relational capabilities.
