Cross-functional specialist in Operations Management. In this role you support the development and execution of common Planning & Fulfillment and Production Engineering processes, skills, and tools, working to improve relevant KPIs across Operations (inventory, on-time delivery, lead-time, production efficiency, manufacturing costs). Lead and support cross-functional continuous improvement projects with the different stakeholders. In this role you will report to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager and dotted line to the Production Engineering Manager.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Analyze excess and obsolete/aging inventory; take appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with production engineering, sales, marketing, manufacturing and procurement.
- Optimize product portfolio to minimize NWC and product/process costs with focus on EBITA.
- Facilitate phase in/phase out products in Operations (P&F, Production Engineering, Manufacturing).
- Collaborate with Buyers to facilitate make/buy analysis and decision making.
- Create, release, and maintain bill of materials (BOMs) for assigned products and related part numbers.
- Conducts financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory, implementing corrective actions based on root case analysis performed.
**Your background**:
- Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial/Management Engineering;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular on Microsoft Excel;
- Knowledge of SAP and data analysis tools (Power BI or similar) are considered a plus;
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken;
- Be creative, innovative and digitally smart;
- Ownership and problem solving attitude, result oriented;
- Agile approach;
- Teamwork attitude, good communication skills and courage complete the profile.
