Junior Applied Research Manager

In this position, you will join our Loacker Futurum Front End Innovation team and you will support the department, catching relevant insights, identifying emerging trends and contribute to the implementation of applied research that directly shape the future of our company.**YOUR RESPONSABILITES**
- Supporting the Applied Research Manager in evaluating research proposals and requests and in identifying potential research partners and networks
- Taking over the project lead of research projects and be responsible for meeting project objectives, coordinating with external and internal project partners, and project reporting
- Contribution to the screening and solution design for Loacker's current and future research needs
- Close collaboration with internal and external research partners in an interdisciplinary manner and help expand our research network

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Master’s degree or PhD in food technologies or natural science
- Ideally 3-5 years of experience/knowledge of applied research in a company (R&D department) or university (interdisciplinary research projects)
- Project lead or some project management experience (e.g. independent planning, interpretation and presentation of scientific projects)
- Knowledge of MS Office, basic statistics and scientific databases
- Open minded, fast learner and proactive
- Good collaboration and communication skills
- Fluent in English and German or Italian
