**Business Overview of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking - Global Market - Sales Assistant**

You will be supporting the activity of our GM Front Office team with access to the entire process and the wide range of experts.

The position will show you what a job in Capital Markets looks like and the wide range of activities you will see will help you understand the BNP Paribas offering, understand the business and sales process and get to know the main stake holders of our business. Once a bit of experience is obtained you will be able to get more involved in the sales process.

You will benefit from a rotation program and spend time with desks across asset classes such as EQD, FX, Credit, G10 and DCM

In particular you will interact with the teams of:

- Distribution and Listed Certificates activity support to the sales team: BNP Paribas is a leader is the listing of Certificates and you will be helping the salesforce to continue growing this franchise.
- Institutional sales team support: BNP Paribas is a partner of many institutions in Southern Europe active in the Derivatives markets. You will be supporting the front office team who handles the relationships with insurers, asset managers and banks.
- THEAM fund sales support: our THEAM franchise is a fast growing fund business where our flagship systematic strategies are distributed to Retail and Institutions. You will be learning about the activity behind the construction and the sales of funds and support the salesforce.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- support in all client activities, making sure we can respond to enquiries and mantain high client satisfactions
- market intelligence and research analysis on market trends and products launched in the market
- support in the all post trading activity, with interactions in full autonomy with middle office and back office
- maintain our reporting activities and KPI monitoring for the business
- marketing material screening and preparation and support to organize events
- help in the organisation of and participate in client conferences and seminars
- liaise with the Italian marketing team so as to create brochures, marketing materials and videos for new products
- liaise with our compliance regarding recertification of existing clients, obtaining all necessary documents from clients
- help in responding to client RFPs (Request for Proposals)
- actively participate in group discussions and participate in sales and product meetings both in Italy and internationally

**What we expect from you**
- Education: Master Degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering area/s
- Behavioral skills: Accuracy, teamwork and analytical approach; proactivity and problem solving attitude; strong interpersonal skills.
- Technical skills: Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken); past experience in Investment Banking

**Contract type and Remuneration**

The offer will be a full time fixed term contract and the relative remuneration will be consistent with the National Banking Contract.
