**Medical Strategy Lead Immunology Europe**

We are looking for a **Medical Strategy Lead Europe focused on Psoriatic Arthritis **to join us in our **Immunology Medical **team, based in our HQ in Brussels, Belgium or in Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, France, Switzerland.

**About the role**

The Europe Medical Strategy Lead Psoriatic Arthritis will drive European level medical strategy for our important Immunology product, overseeing strategy execution and impact. They will actively shape therapy Psoriatic Arthritis area medical strategy, Evidence Generation, Medical Education, and scientific communication at the European level. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the overall cross-functional asset strategy, translating scientific insights into value for patients, healthcare professionals, and the organization. The lead will also provide regional medical strategic direction to European Area Medical Teams.

**Who you’ll work with**

You will play a crucial part in the launch preparation and execution from the medical affairs perspective, collaborating closely with Global, Area, and Cross-Functional Teams in market access, marketing, regulatory affairs, and learning and development at UCB. You will serve as the principal external scientific partner, engaging with prominent European Medical associations and notable international Key Opinion Leaders in the field of Rheumatology.

**What you’ll do**
- Lead and implement European medical strategy for Rheumatology, translating Global Medical strategy for an Immunology asset at the European level, overseeing evidence generation, scientific communication, and medical affairs plans.
- Champion scientific leadership, anticipate healthcare changes, and strategically leverage insights to ensure successful integration of medically focused deliverables, supporting Immunology product launches in Europe.
- Drive strategic input and foster peer engagement with external stakeholders, including international experts, societies, payers, and patient advocacy groups.
- Contribute to therapy area-related strategic plans and actively engage in the Immunology Medical Affairs community, European Cross-functional team, and European Strategic Operations.
- Provide medical and scientific guidance internally across the European Community, areas, and countries.
- Work as the Medical Strategy Lead in Rheumatology communities to co-create and execute disease area strategic plans and ensure their effective implementation.

**I**nterested? For this role we’re looking for the following** **education, experience,** **and **skills.**
- Master's degree required. Preferably a Ph.D., Pharm.D., or MD degree.
- 5+ years of substantial regional Medical Affairs experience within relevant therapeutic areas, with a focus on rheumatology (clinical or pharmaceutical). A track PsA experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Comprehensive expertise in clinical development, study management, and real-world evidence generation.
- Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape, healthcare ecosystems, and effective implementation of governance activities.
- Proven ability to build peer relationships, engage leaders, and serve as a medical expert.
- Track record of contributing to medical/clinical development strategies and leading cross-business planning.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility to travel across Europe.
