Corporate Communications Manager

To support the teams who are powering this ecosystem we have a global corporate division consisting of departments including Legal, Finance, Security, Human Resources and Communications & Sustainability.

Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Manager of Corporate Communications to join the Global Communications & Sustainability team. The Global Communications team focuses on synchronizing our internal and external worlds; protecting and building business reputation inside and out, elevating our Executive team through a unified and aligned corporate narrative with a focus on sustainability, and delivering programs and initiatives that support and amplify key business priorities.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

- Support the implementation of Global strategy, with a focus on Italy, and communications programs to achieve global goals. Projects include sustainability, Thought Leadership and innovation related initiatives.
- Management of strategic and creative communication plan in Italy to build group reputation and leadership in innovation, customer experience and sustainability.
- Management of press offices globally, with Italy focus and respond to media inquiries.
- Develop and consolidate the relationship with key business and trade journalists, especially at national level.
- With the collaboration of HR, develop a communication plan to attract new talent in key business areas such as tech, product, marketing, and merchandising.
- Work closely with Internal Comms to ensure program rollout in Italy to involve and engage employees.
- Lead event organization to support media activities; Press Days, Speaking Engagements etc.
- Support the Director of Global Communications & Sustainability in crisis preparedness and management, including the reactive /active message creation and internal and external key stakeholder relationships.
- Be a trusted advisor on Corporate and Crisis Communications across the business, building relationships with senior stakeholders from different business units and coordinating the Brands’ PR activities.
- Liaise with key stakeholders from the parent company, Richemont, especially on crisis and Investor Relations.
- Point of contact for external business stakeholders, including trade associations, brand partners, business partners and public authorities.
- Plan, edit and write accurate, clear and engaging external facing content including Press releases, Q&As, Crisis statements, investor relations materials, briefing sessions, presentations, scripts and reports.
- Translate ideas into briefs for external agencies and partners, and project manage through to delivery.
- Develop reporting format across corporate communications output that enables us to constantly improve our offering against our objectives and track progress.
- Manage and monitor communications budget and be the point of contact for the finance team.

**Requirements**:

- Degree level education or equivalent with 5-7 years’ experience in communications, corporate or similar, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proven track record in delivering programmes in corporate and internal comms for a matrix organisation.
- Editorial experience in corporate content with excellent writing skills and able to synthesise and clearly communicate complex information.
- Strong internal stakeholder and relationship management skills with experience managing and negotiating with external partners (agents, talent, vendors).
- Well-developed research and analytic capabilities, as well as problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for bringing stories to life through engaging content and visual formats.
- Fluency in English (required); and Italian.
- Calm under pressure and enjoys a challenge, and acts as a role model for others
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to handle sensitive and/or confidential information
