**Careers that Change Lives** The Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Operating Unit (OU) develops life-restoring technologies and solutions to treat diseases in the areas of Cardiac Arrhythmias. We offer cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. Our vision is to help patients worldwide by advancing innovation for the diagnosis and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, enabling clinicians to perform procedures with superior outcomes. We are now looking for an enthusiastic Technical Consultant that provide in-OR support to facilitate technology adoption, unlock full, differentiating potential of MDT products during the procedure. Able to create strong pull from clinical stakeholders, build, maintain and develop deep relationships with clinicians based on unparalleled therapy within the framework of partnership projects **A Day in the Life** - Be the CAS map/nav expert, train the new mappers and be the ambassador for the clinical/technical data in congresses or customer meetings - Planning and implementation of support activities with our navigation system in coordination with our customers. - Provides clinical and technical expertise through case support, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products. - Provides clinical and technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions. - Develop a high level of clinical knowledge (deep conversation in clinical and scientific discussion - the same level of knowledge in order to catch opportunities) - Planning and implementation of software and hardware installations in the region in close cooperation with our Tech. department and the entire team. - Provides sales personnel with technical data necessary for the demonstration of products. - Make technical or scientific presentations at sales meetings and customer locations. - Conducts on-site education and consulting, and supports establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations - Update and documentation of activities in our CRM tool (i.e. SFDC Lightning or ServiceMax) - Regular participation in congresses, symposiums and workshops completes your area of activity. - Be prepared to manage first line troubleshooting on CAS map/nav system and/or be ready to provide early information to the technical department - Be prepared to help in crafting presentation, video o other visual materials **Must Haves** - Degree in Engineering, Life-science, Biology or another relevant advanced degree or qualification. - Experience in Cardiac Electrophysiology or Cardiology > 2years - Proven ability to operate in a team environment and work effectively within a new team and colleagues - Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team - Excellent interpersonal skills - Ability adapt and think laterally - Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers - Ability to effectively build relationships with a wide range of people and personalities, in a professional, high-pressure environment - Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekend work when required - Fluent in English - Good IT knowledge, a good technical understanding and can explain clinical contexts at the highest level - Must have a clean valid driver’s license **Nice to Haves** - Second language will be considered a plus **Additional Info**: Travel is required **Your Answer** **About Medtronic** Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
