- Reporting directly to the Senior Quality Manager Leather Goods, the QC Manager, LG, will promote quality as a shared value and will be responsible for all quality control activity of leather goods manufactured by subcontractors and vendors. The person will be responsible for providing clear information on Burberry's quality standards to the various stakeholders in order to achieve ever increasing product excellence combined with continuous reduction of non-quality costs.**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Team management:

- Manage the internal QC Department
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the Quality Control Inspectors team
- Plan inspection activities for vendors and subcontractors
- Quality activities:

- Ensure that any problem on the bag is identified and corrective actions are taken
- Perform field inspections and quality validations
- Ensure quality and acceptance levels are defined and aligned within the team and across the manufacturing
- Define and track corrective action plans based on inspections
- Coordination and reporting activities:

- Define product split between hubs and field inspections based on high/low risk
- Coordinate with Central Quality Analysts for hub data collection and KPI assessment
- Manage Quality KPIs for their perimeter (pass rate, field inspection, end of line inspection, actions in progress, etc)
- Manage daily feedback with manufacturing teams (internal and external)
- Attend operational and team meetings on quality activities and problem solving

**PERSONAL PROFILE**
- High school diploma required (leather goods technician school preferred)
- Strong experience in leather goods products and components
- Knowledge of all processes involved in the manufacturing of a luxury bag
- Excellent and detailed knowledge of the manufacturing process
- Ability to work in a team
- Problem solving skills
- Attention to details
- Good knowledge of English
- Computer skills (MS Office, BI, PLM, Stealth)
