**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
Within the Organizing Committee's people management team, Workforce Planning & Operations Area has the responsibility for efficient and effective planning of the organisational structure required for the organisation of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, including not only the coordination of workforce headcounts estimation and the forecasting of personnel budgets, but also the definition of processes and policies related to the function and regarding the workforce operations at pre-Games and Games-Time period. As a result, the function is highly exposed to high level of engagement with other functional areas of the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, with members of external committees and with top management.

In this context we are looking for a **WORKFORCE SYSTEM MANAGER**, who will have the following responsibilities:

- Streamline all workforce processes in an efficient manner, to deliver an exceptional experience for the workforce members (paid staff, volunteers and contractors).
- Contribute and consult on the system implementation with the Technology team and software provider and be a key point of contact for the project.
- Manage Workforce System project plan including activities, schedules, and quality assurance of deliverables.
- Consult with the Workforce Planning and Volunteers teams to design and implement operational processes and understand business impact of system design decisions.
- Arrange and complete User Acceptance Testing including developing test plans, test scripts, managing the execution of the testing, recording defects, etc.
- Manage the training requirements, development of training material, and delivery of training on the systems across all departments.
- Identify and develop reporting requirements.
- Resolve issues in a fast, efficient, and customer friendly manner.
- Analyse, review and validate functional requirements, system features, integration requirements, security requirements, scalability and performance requirements.
- Serve as the customer liaison between departments and the software providers where required.

**Requirements**:

- 6+ years of proven experience in personnel planning, event planning and the management of complex, evolving organisational designs;
- Experience in previous edition of Olympic and Paralympic Games ( or other major sport event ) would be ideal;
- Excellent analytical skills and good command of numbers;
- Experience in managing budgets and personnel costs;
- Experience and confidence in the product requirement and project management of HC related IT systems
- Effective at simplifying complex process including through the definition of lean procedures
- Ability to understand and conciliate different needs and boundaries ( from legal/ reglementary aspects to budget availability to more pratictal topics related to event delivery and human resources management )
- Excellent interpersonal relationship management skills due to continuous involvement with other functional areas of the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 and collaboration with the IOC.
