**Position Summary**:
**Accounts Clerk_temporary contract**

Cantel Medical Italy, now part of STERIS Group, is a leading provider of infection prevention products and services in the healthcare market, specializing in Medical, Life Sciences and Dental operating segments.

For our Finance Department based in Pomezia (RM), we are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join us for a fixed term contract.

As an Accounts Clerk you will support accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, and running software programs; assist the Accounting Department following company’s policies, local and US GAAP requirements will be involved in statutory financial statement and closing process.

**Duties**:

- Assist the billing process and revenue reconciliations
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Assist with preparing supporting documentation for monthly/quarterly and year-end closing
- Assist the statutory financial statement preparation
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and account reconciliations.
- Assist in the tax planning and compliance for all national, local, payroll, VAT and other taxes
- Provide ad hoc reporting as requested
- Complete assigned document requests for internal/external auditors timely and accurately
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed

**Education Degree**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting**Required Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA a plus
- 1-3 years of accounting/audit experience
- 1-3 years of financial statement preparation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.Proficiency in Excel and Account Software systems (Oracle experience is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are critical to success
