For our client, leading international player in debt collection and trusted partner through the entire credit cycle, we’re looking for a

**Business Development Director.**

**Posizione**:
This role, reporting to Italy Country Manager, has the responsibility of all strategic business activities functionally integrated with the operating structure in order to develop and promote to third parties and banks all the services provided by the Company, to identify business opportunity participating in tenders and closing the deals.

His/her main responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
**Strategic**
- Developing and fostering key senior relationships both internally across the business/sector and externally.
- Developing and implementing a new commercial strategy to complement the existing ones, according with the purpose of the stakeholders and top management.
- Working with senior management to support the strategic plans.
- Monitoring and interpreting market trends, with particular focus on NPL/ Credit Management opportunities, to help determine the overall strategic direction of the business.

**New business**
- Proactively growing business revenue, through direct origination of opportunities
- Developing and maintaining a strong network of external business referrers
- Preparing presentations and other business development related material as required to support new business opportunities
- Representing the business at external meetings, relevant industry forums, conferences and seminars as required
- Undertaking deal by deal risk assessment of new business opportunities in conjunction with relevant business areas.

**Deals Closing**
- Working closely with the transaction management team to facilitate deal closing and to undertake post-deal close relationship management
- Setting business development related goals for the agency services transaction management team, and supporting them in the achievement of these goals.

**Marketing**
- Contributing to the development of marketing collateral, with particular focus on NPL/Credit Management specific material.
- Supporting the planning and execution of client events.

**Requisiti**:
The role is suitable for someone operating at the Top Management level already, with at

least 10 years of financial industry experience, with a deep understanding of NPL and Credit Management Sector.

He/she should have solid background in Loan Agency, NPL and/or Credit Management sector, strong commercial background with solid network of business/contact as well as a solid experience building and developing new/existing business

Great sense of business and results orientation are required.

Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
