**Responsibilities**:

- Through thought leadership, support in creating a culture in the global Corteco organization of openness and willingness to explore new business models, markets, services, and solutions.
- Effectively communicate and present development opportunities to a broad - organizational audience. Lead intercompany (broader FST) networking in order to capitalize on cross organizational synergies.
- Develop a business development process that efficiently allows the organization to consider opportunities for growth within new and current markets.
- With the support of the commercial, production, supply chain, and product teams, lead complex development projects that drive organizational growth (project management / execution).
- Support in the development of the Corteco organization’s long-term strategy, providing thought leadership, data driven input, and market intelligence.
- Utilizing resources and tools both externally and internally conduct relative market research gathering intelligence that supports strategic decision making. Additionally, conduct activities that allow for summarization and communication of market intelligence both functionally and cross functionally.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA Preferred o equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 + years of experience in progressive leadership roles. Automotive aftermarket experience preferred.
- Experience in Project management - managing complex long-term projects leading broad spectrum cross functional teams - identifying resource needs in order successfully accomplish a goal.
- Business Development experience (includes M&A) in a matrixed, global organization. Experience developing new markets - entering new segments and / or developing new products or services outside current product portfolio. Experience in developing business processes. Experience in an externally focused / market facing role, conducting external activities.
- Project Management, Ability to Facilitate complex projects - cross functionally, Ability to present functional activity, projects, and business cases to a broad audience.
- Ability to conduct Market / Industry Research, ability to summarize data / research into a potential business opportunity - utilizing tools to download large quantity data.
- Ability to Network Externally / Internally, Leadership skillset - ability to influence others, Negotiation skillset (Internal, External).
- Business Process Creation and Development (Ability to create process), Business and Financial Acumen, Business strategy development skillset.
