**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
The Village Manager is responsible of the entire Village team to deliver the planning, operations, delivery and operate the daily life of the village.

She/he will be:

- involved in the planning phase to finalize the village operation plan that should be complete with all the details provided by the other FAs that will operate inside the village.
- involved in all the venue team meeting and in all the relevant meeting or necessary activity with the rest of the colleagues of Milano Cortina 2026.
- point of contact for all the requests that come from the rest of the areas to access the site/village under construction - managing the permission, the needs, the flows.
- the one that manages the relationship with the local entities and the with the developer due to aligned always with them.

During games time, stay all day long in the village with the general manager and check that all the operational phases will be completed (bump in, fit out, security sweep, first arrivals, movements, flows, departures, ceremony operations).

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, hospitality, or large-scale operations management;
- Previous involvement in Olympic/Paralympic or multi-sport event environments is an advantage;
- Proven experience in project management;
- Strong leadership and team management abilities;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Proficiency English skills, and proficiency in Italian is considered a plus;
- Knowledge of Livigno and Bormio areas would be considered an advantage.
