**Position Snapshot**

- Engineering degree
- 6 months/1 year experience as Supply / Distribution Planner is required
- Fluent in English and Italian

**Position Summary**
In this role you will manage the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that takes into account the distribution costs.

**A day in the life of Distribution Specialist**
- Establishing the supply plan and net despatch requirements to ensure Customer Service and satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints.
- Planning and optimizing mixed loads taking into account transportation constraints;
- Analyzing and evaluating the supply plan to satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity;
- Balancing the need for product availability versus the need to minimise costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location;
- Determining key issues with volume variance that may impact supply, and highlight to affiliate Planners by challenging existing Logistics and Supply Planning processes and tools;
- Establishing stock policies for Finished Goods;
- Challenging Production Planners to manage lot sizes, cycle times to drive optimum inventory and required Freshness level. Also challenge Demand Planner to improve Demand Planning Accuracy;
- Analyzing and effectively communicating relevant information with the direct producing factory and affiliates supply team highlighting all supply issues.

**What Will Make You Successful**
- 6 months /1 year experience as Supply / Distribution Planner is required
- Analytical mindset and attention to details
- Supply Chain Planning interest
- Resilience, determination and proactivity
- Strong communication skills and high service orientation level
- Good Excel knowledge - SAP and Power BI knowledge is a plus
- Fluent in English and Italian
