**Quality Control Expert (Expansion Project)**:

The quality control expert plans and executes quality control of works executed under the responsibility of HHLA PLT. Quality Control Expert is responsible for inspections and checks including the creation of quality and defect reports including related communication and support of process improvement.

**What you can expect**:

- Review design and specifications to compare to project execution
- Assist in the development of test and inspection plan
- Execute inspections, spot checks and execute or organize product tests
- Inspect output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality
- Identify defects and determine the causes of these defects and reworks
- Record and report of inspection results
- Propose improvements to the construction / production process
- Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements
- Update job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training
- Verify equipment is calibrated correctly
- Track and communicate planning progress
- Support where required the Project Management

**What you bring to the table**:
We’re looking for a process minded individual who is precise and accurate in checking and registering the quality achieved. The person would have comprehensive understanding of quality control standards and legal standards. The person needs to have a high sense of responsibility as the role is vital to maintain relevant quality documentation and ensure the deliverables are achieved in line with specifications and design.
- Good English and Italian (German is a plus)
- Experience (2+ year(s)) in quality management and quality control
- Experience/understanding of tracking the execution process
- Self-starter with the ability to set-up procedures
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Driven and detail oriented, will own the reporting & regular updates
- Process & logic driven mentality
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and previous experience in construction processes.
- Technical high school/university diploma or related
