WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Master’s degree in economics, law, human science with master in HR (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience within human resources field with a strong focus on employee/industrial relations management
- Solid knowledge of Italian labour law environment, legislation regarding resolving disputes and other corporate and civil parties and the rights and obligations of employees and employers
- Strong ability to mediate the relationship between employees, employing entities, trade unions and the government.
- Passion about people, their rights and wellbeing.
- Ability to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Leads an ongoing open dialogue with employees, their associations and other organisations, contributing to successful negotiations with the worker’s council/labour unions for different stores regionally
- Supports store HR Managers in handling co-worker relations conflicts in their units
- Coordinates with country Employee Relations Manager to executing on common way of managing labour issues across the country, in order to protect IKEA as an employer from potential threats
- Follows up on the IKEA employee survey results on regional
- Coaches, executes and follows up on the problem resolution process in all stores
- Coaches and guides units to create a proactive/preventive way of working with performance issues
- Follow up on potential health and safety issues/complaints in the stores
- Implement and follow up on IKEA’s Employment standards and compliance in the stores
- Coordinates, enables collaboration and leads topics relevant for all stores within the assigned area
