Digital Business Analyst

**Description**

The Digital Business Analyst need a technical knowledge on public transport environment (i.e. Rail/Bus portfolio) in order to influence the foundation of new solutions that will represent new source of revenues in line with Hitachi Rail competences and business.

The Digital Business Analyst key role will be to support in the elaboration of Business Cases and Business Plans to create new sources of revenues powered by Lumada for Hitachi Rail.

You need business analysis skills with versatile mind-set to converge technical and economic concepts to understand customer needs bridging with new business environments able to synthetize correctly the information and disseminate it to an audience with different background.

**Accountabilities**
- Support D&LS in the identification and analysis of digital customer needs, elaborating market and competitor analysis in new or improve the current areas of business.
- Develop the value proposition of new technologies placed as part of the Hitachi Rail business as well as Hitachi Group.
- Elaborate Business Cases and Business Plan for D&LS.
- Support D&LS Unit in the elaboration of material and promotion of the Lumada Intelligent Mobility Management Suite Portfolio.
- Elaborate Cost Benefit analysis to support D&LS Sales Force to convince customers to implement D&LS portfolio.
- Collaborate with the strategic business growth of Hitachi Rail leaded by Lumada.

**Required Skills/Knowledge**
- Understand the complexity of how to place different technical competences, to build a single project.
- Analyse and propose the value proposition of a new product, system or solution.
- Read, review and synthetize market reports.
- Create a business case and a business plan from zero.
- Skills to understand in high level the characteristics of a new technical solution and able to compare it with the ones supplied from other companies.
- Able to use internet tools in order to look for competitive information about Hitachi Rail products.
- Able to understand customers and to collect their priorities and needs.
- Able to formulate your own opinion, backed up with data and confidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work with people with different backgrounds (technical and commercial), being able to manage the discussion with them collecting the main technical and business digital needs.
- Willing to travel frequently.

**Education/Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree (Engineering, Business School),
- 3-5years+ of working experience

**Languages**
Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
