**Job description**:
Mechanical Engineering Lead (Static) - E+P Company
Great opportunity to work for a mid-sized international E&P Company as a Mechanical Engineering Lead working with static equipment, on a flagship international mega offshore gas project.

**The Role**:

- Technical responsibility for the Static Mechanical scope and technical management of the EPC contractor.
- Act as project champion for Static Mechanical packages within the project.
- Assist the Engineering Manager and Delivery Manager in the delivery of safe and operable regulatory requirements, within schedule and budget.
- Be accountable for the quality of Static Mechanical deliverables from the EPC contractor.
- Providing sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline.

**Required Experience**:

- BSc, BEng or equivalent. CEng / EUR ING / PE or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience working on major greenfield projects.
- Previous experience working on EPC projects.
- Broad knowledge of industry design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria. These include ASME Code Section VIII, Divisions 1 and 2, API 660, 661, 662, 620, 650, TEMA.
- Preferred knowledge in API 510, 653, 579 and NBIC
