Hv Activities Site Support Coordinator

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prysmian Group is looking for a Jointing Superintendent for the - HV activities site support in the Land & Jointing Installation department of the Business Unit Transmission, based in Milano.

The Jointing Superintendent for the - HV activities site support reports to the Manager of the Land & Jointing Installation function and will support the Jointing and Land Installation Operations Coordinator in his daily business focusing on manning and equipment availability for the ongoing land HV system installation activities being carried out in the different construction sites.

The Jointing Superintendent for the - HV activities site will:

- Cooperate and support the Jointing and Land Installation Operations Coordinator to ensure the proper manning and the timely installation with the best quality standards of all the accessories required by the contracts.
- Liaise with Project Management, PMO, Quality and HSE to ensure all project needs are properly evaluated match with both Prysmian and Contractual expectation
- Attend Site visits, when necessary, to understand technical aspects of the job and check feasibility of solutions as well as to provide technical and logistic support on
- Client interface, when necessary, for site execution activities
- Planning of activities optimizing people and equipment’s’ utilization
- Ensure Supervision of compliance with internal rules and procedures during the entire process, including QHSE standards
- Supervise the preparation of method statements, risk assessment and other documentation necessary to carry out the works on site

Who are we looking for?

Key requirements
- A master’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or similar Degrees
- Preferably previous work experience in a site-based construction role or electrical testing and commissioning activities of 2-4 years
- English fluent
- Availability to travel
- Excellent relationship and team working abilities
- Problem solving, target oriented, capable to define and set priorities.
- Very good communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to continuous change
- Eager to learn
- Previous experience of client relationship will be a plus
- Knowledge and familiarity with all basic and common software (Office suite and Autocad 2D)
