- We are seeking a Raw Materials Technologist to join our Product Engineering Team. As Technologist, you will foster the development of Raw Materials Engineering as an area of excellence within Burberry's upstream technical development phase.**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop expertise in Raw Material Suppliers' capabilities and capacities.
- Foster collaborative partnerships for efficient material development.
- Navigate regulatory landscapes and safety protocols adeptly.
- Expert knowledge in material construction analysis and interpretation.
- Execute technical approval processes with precision.
- Ensure colour consistency across initial and bulk production.
- Drive innovation through sharing technical redevelopment directions.
- Enforce stringent Raw Materials performance standards and processes, mitigating product risk.
**PERSONAL PROFILE**
- Degree in Textile/Materials Technology, or Engineering, and 3 years' experience working as a Technologist.
- Extensive experience in materials development or manufacturing.
- Understanding of product testing and test methods.
- Self-starting and able to prioritise and focus workload.
- Pragmatic, commercial and realistic, whilst not compromising the Burberry standard.
