Automation Manager

EFI Reggiani Macchine is looking for an Automation Manager to join our plant in Grassobbio (Bergamo). In this role you will be responsible for directing the company's automation strategy in close collaboration with the Management and Development Roadmap. You will manage automation projects by coordinating the electrical design team and PLC software.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plans PLC software development and electrical design activities, within budget and project timelines.
- Collaborate with other teams for the technical or economic analysis for projects.
- Identifies and develops R&D and continuous improvement projects in order to introduce innovative solutions, improving product quality and costs.
- Defines software and electrical design standards and guidelines.
- Report to the Management the progress of the projects.
- Manages relationships with suppliers.

**Requirements**:

- Strong predisposition to teamwork, leadership and problem solving.
- Degree in technical studies: information sciences, computer engineering or automation.
- Significant previous experience with PLC, HMI and SCADA platforms of various vendors (preferably Siemens).
- Basic competence in electrical design and software development methodologies.
- Competence on current regulations on plants and machines.
- Fluent knowledge of English.
