**About the Role**

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will work closely with our data and AI teams, gaining hands-on experience in transforming large datasets into actionable insights. You’ll be responsible for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, executing feature engineering, and supporting the training of our machine learning models. Additionally, you’ll help formalize customer use cases, translating them into actionable machine learning (ML) problems. This role is ideal for a new graduate with a strong quantitative background, looking to make an impact and grow in a supportive and innovative environment.

**In This Role, You Will**:

- ** Data Analysis**: Analyze large volumes of customer data to uncover insights and patterns that drive personalized experiences.
- ** ETL Jobs**: Develop and maintain ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and readiness for ML workflows.
- ** Feature Engineering**: Design and implement feature engineering techniques to enhance model performance and personalization.
- ** Model Training**: Support the training of machine learning models, leveraging the latest tools and techniques.
- ** ML Modeling**: Work with the team to understand and formalize customer use cases into ML problems, aligning data solutions with business goals.
- ** Collaborative Projects**: Work closely with senior scientists, engineers and cross-functional teams to support end-to-end ML pipeline development

**Requirements**:

- ** Education**: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- ** Programming Skills**: proficiency in at least one programming language (ideally python) and familiarity with data analysis concepts. Exposure to data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy) or a strong willingness to learn them quickly. Any experience or coursework in machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) is a plus.
- ** Quantitative Skills**: Solid quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from large datasets.
- ** ETL and Data Handling**: Understanding of ETL processes, data cleaning, and data preparation techniques.
- ** Eagerness to Learn**: A growth mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- ** Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
