Our client is a company based in Florence and is the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems and supplier of additional sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles. For more than 110 years now the company has pioneered the development, production, marketing and servicing of state-of-the-art braking systems.

**Responsibilities**:
**Steering and controlling of material planning**:
Execution of MRP-Controlling tasks (order process, rescheduling, stock movements, management of customer orders for trading goods);
Handling of logistic incidents and clarifications with the relevant counterparts (goods receipt area, warehouse, forwarders,);
Exception management in case of errors and special processes;
Controlling and maintenance of running RPA and OCR activities;
Running process mining tools in order to identify process inefficiencies;
Missing parts management (reactive and proactive) with the operations teams;
Management of material return in case of quality incidents;
Forecasting process for suppliers to ensure material availability;
Clarification of invoice price differences.

**KPI Management for serial business**:
Management of delivery performance including root cause analysis and action plans;
Management of inventory / Turnrate levels and obsolete stocks (IwD);
Management of optimized lead times and supply chain flexibility.

**Supply models and master data management**:
Maintain all necessary SAP master data to run serial business and ensure material availability;
Agree and create schedule agreements with the supplier.

Price negotiations for small and medium volumes in alignment with the responsible buyers.

**Professional Skills**:
**Language skills**: Local language, English fluent;
Minimum 2 years of work experience;
Master/Bachelor Degree of Business Administration or respective vocational training;
**ERP system**: Knowledge of SAP MM;
MS Office;
High affinity for IT tools, data management and analytics;
Knowledge in Logistics and Supply Chain processes;
