- RINA is currently recruiting for a **Naval Ships Junior Surveyor** to join its office in La Spezia within the Marine Special Ships Excellence Centre Division.

- Your role will involve conducting routine surveys on classed ships, offshore installations, or marine assets to ensure strict compliance with classification and statutory requirements. You will be responsible for generating accurate and timely inspection reports for record-keeping and compliance purposes.

- You will play a crucial role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating various surveying work phases. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced surveyors to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to clients.

- Effective client interaction is a vital aspect of your role. You will engage with clients to address and resolve problems within your area of expertise, ensuring client satisfaction through clear and timely communication and issue resolution.
- ** Training and Development**:

- Supporting the growth and development of junior surveyors is an essential responsibility. You will offer guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance the overall skills and knowledge of the team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

**Education**
- Master’s Degree in Naval Engineering**Qualifications**
- Understanding of RINA's technical positioning in the marine industry.
- Proficiency in the English language for classification and statutory certification services.
- Ability to develop knowledge of RINA Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and safety policies.
- Competence in assessing materials, products, shipbuilding practices, and operations.
- Experience in new building surveys, ship in service surveys, audits, and testing activities.
- Knowledge of ship engineering systems, software packages, and technical interfaces for project collaboration.
