Instrumentation & Automation Engineering Manager

Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Instrumentation & Automation Engineering Manager to support development of projects at Milan office.
- Coordinate disciplines activities with special focus on Instrumentation & Automation. Control and forecast work area activities and deliverables against schedule
- Work in coordination with procurement and subcontracting group as well as estimate department
- Review the erection requisitions for E&I
- Coordinate the I&C team during the preparation of key project documents, in particular for Automation
- Organise, contribute and prepare notes for multidiscipline meetings to affect the timely completion of the requisition
- Contribute and participate to work in an enthusiastic manner, working to the requirements of quality and environmental management systems maintained to ISO standards
Skills / Qualifications:
- MSC degree in Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 20 years of professional activities in EPC companies in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Bio-pharmaceutical and Power industries
- Availability to be relocated abroad
- Self-motivation, a proactive outlook and good communication skills
- Ability to technically deal with other disciplines and to coordinate medium / large engineering team
- Fluent in English and in Italian
