**We are looking for**:
We are seeking a dynamic Global IT Buyer to join our team as a strategic business partner, driving end-to-end service excellence in IT procurement. In this pivotal role, you will go beyond traditional buying—leading sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the highest standards in product and service delivery

**We count on you for**:

- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to define, propose, and implement procurement strategies aligned with the IT roadmap across various sub-domains
- Lead the end-to-end negotiation process: identify and assess potential suppliers, develop RFx documents, and craft effective negotiation strategies
- Oversee contract management in close partnership with IT service owners, ensuring accurate documentation and proactive follow-up
- Facilitate contract implementation and ensure clear communication with all relevant stakeholders
- Act as a key liaison in translating contracts into purchase orders (provisioning is handled by others)
- Organize and participate in supplier evaluations, developing and executing improvement plans as needed
- Develop contingency plans to proactively address any service, delivery, or quality issues

**You will bring**:
Portfolio Experience:

- Hardware & Resellers (Level 1/5): End-user devices, infrastructure (workstations, laptops, switches, firewalls, etc.)
- Software & Resellers (Level 5/5): On-premise and SaaS solutions
- Telecom (Level 2/5): Global outsourcing for telecom infrastructure
- Hosting (Level 3/5): Primarily IaaS contracts

Core Skills:

- Expertise in transforming T&M contracts into outsourcing agreements with defined work units and SLAs
- Proven ability to develop and execute IT procurement strategies in line with business objectives
- Strong negotiation skills, with a methodical and strategic approach
- Minimum 8 years’ dedicated IT procurement experience
- Global contract management expertise, including SLA/KPI evaluation, compliance, and cybersecurity support
- Risk management proficiency (compliance by design)
- Structured contract database management

Key Tools:

- Proficiency in creating impactful presentations and delivering concise elevator pitches
- Advanced spreadsheet skills (data analysis, pivot tables)
- SAP (reader access for purchase orders, invoices, vendor management)
- SRM Salesforce
- ICERTIS

Soft Skills:

- Collaborative mindset
- Assertiveness and strong communication
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize information and drive proactive solutions
- Experience in multicultural negotiation environments

Desirable Experience:

- Implementation of FinOps or Software Asset Management contracts with performance obligations
- Knowledge of IT regulations (Export Control, Privacy, CMMC, etc.)
- Understanding of cybersecurity requirements in IT contracts
- Experience managing contracts with major vendors (SAP, Microsoft, AWS, GCP, CGI, Capgemini, Salesforce, etc.)
- Background in a global industrial company
