**About the role**:
**Carrier is seeking an experienced and highly skilled legal professional to join our Legal Department as a Corporate Counsel. This role is suited for a legal expert with extensive knowledge across several practice areas, capable of providing strategic legal advice and driving improvements across the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and leadership to mitigate legal risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business objectives across a broad range of legal disciplines.**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**As a Corporate Counsel, you’ll be responsible for**:

- ** Provide strategic legal advice and innovative solutions to support Carrier’s HVAC businesses, as well as various corporate support functions (including HR, Finance, Tax and Digital) in the region on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to business transactions, claims and litigation strategy, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.**:

- ** Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and other colleagues within the organization, proactively engaging in business and other emerging issues in real time to identify and mitigate legal and business risks associated with strategic initiatives, providing guidance on legal implications of corporate strategy, and potential disputes and resolutions.**:

- ** Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements on all levels of complexity, including commercial and public customer and sales contracts, supply chain contracts and other transactional matters.**:

- ** Support M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring and post close integration.**:

- ** Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and rulings to advise the company on legal obligations and business risks to help ensure that Carrier’s business practices align with current legal and regulatory requirements, trends, and industry standards.**:

- ** Represent the Legal Department in interactions with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders.**:

- ** Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and legal compliance.**:

- ** Provide training and education to company employees on various legal and compliance related matters.**:
**Requirements**:
**We are looking for people who as a minimum have**:

- ** Law Degree or equivalent legal degree from an accredited university.**:

- ** Admission to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s).**:

- ** 3+ years of relevant legal experience.**:

- ** Strong knowledge of corporate law and experience advising in a multinational corporate environment.**:

- ** Proven ability to manage complex legal matters and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.**:

- ** Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.**:

- ** Prior experience within the industrial, manufacturing, or technology sector is a plus.**:
