HHLA PLT Italy is a multipurpose maritime terminal started in 2021, located in the middle of the fast-growing North Adriatic market. Here, the Expansion Project Team, carried out by a subsidiary of HHLA PLT Italy: Logistica Giuliana, is planning and executing a game changer phased project aiming to integrate the current facility into a state-of-the-art intermodal container and RoRo terminal, making use of the most advanced technologies and expertise, aiming at flawless operations being best in class regarding work safety.

What you can expect
- The Compliance Trainee will support in the following activities:

- Collaborate to the monitoring and general implementation of organisational model “231”, by collaborating with all department and external OdV, under the supervision of the Compliance Officer
- Support the implementation of Privacy management model
- Support the company projects in relation to compliance topics, and propose improvement actions Keep the documentation updated
- Actively participate in internal audits and reviews of compliance controls, also in collaboration with headquarters Compliance team
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports.

What you bring to the table
- Law Student (preferred)
- Knowledge of compliance legislative framework, employment laws, model “231” and privacy laws Legal analytical skills (preferred)
- Orientation to compliant solutions
- Orientation to detail and precision
- Good communication skills Fluent spoken and written English is a must
- 6-month traineeship
- 38 working hours per week
- Valid EU work permit
- Willing to relocate to Trieste at short notice
