**Description**

**Job Summary**

This position will play a key role in helping to ensure a back up of the various accounting positions during the implementation of a new ERP. This requires a good record of the company's accounting activities (in US GAAP) while helping to maintain a reliable internal control environment.

**Essential Functions**
- Supplier accounting: recording of invoices by ensuring the correct coding (accounting account and cost centre) (except marketing)
- Supplier accounting: supporting the management of prepaid expenses and invoices not received at the end of the month (except marketing)
- Supplier accounting: preparation of deadlines and isolated transfers
- Payroll accounting: posting of payroll recording;
- General ledger: posting of the distribution key, taxes (VAT etc.) at the end of the month if required
- Reconciliation of accounts: at the month end, reconciliation of relevant accounts;
- Other administrative tasks.

- Management of data entry
- Thorough knowledge of general accounting procedures.

**Environment de travail**:

- This position is based at our headquarters in Lainate (Milano)

**Experience**:

- Experience in a European subsidiary of a US multinational company desirable

**Formation**:

- At least 3 years experience in general accounting.
- Fluent English preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Excel / experience of using an ERP
